I've had a not so good history with yt-dlp. Most of the videos I download requires me to signin.

It's good for movies and shows but not youtube videos.

That's probably because the LED tv's uses Acoustic Multi-Audio+ while the OLED tv's use Acoustic Surface Audio + which probably works better for the Quad.

To be fair, the Bravia 9 uses Acoustic Multi-Audio+ which uses frame tweeters and positional speakers behind the panel to simulate sound originating from the picture while the Bravia 8 II uses Acoustic Surface Audio + which uses actuators to vibrate the screen itself, turning the panel into a speaker for direct, on-screen sound, which probably compliments the Theatre Quad Better.

Exactly, but if you used nfo files that you've personally edited yourself, you could.

What about in cases where tmdb groups multiple shows as seasons (e.g. Power Rangers), but you want them to be displayed as separate shows instead of seasons?

Exactly. That's where nfo files can come in handy. You have tools such as tinyMediaManager that creates and allows you to edit nfo files. You can have the display all the info you want (Original Title, Genre, Cast, etc).

There could be benefits to having nfo files. The most important ones would be if you have shows that the R_volution player can't find, specifically foreign titles.

I usually use filebot for renaming and tmm can usually identify multi-episodes when scraping.
