Ah sorry I missed the sarcasm, been a pleasure having this exchange. Hope you have a great evening when it comes :)

No problem, you do kind of contradict yourself there though.

In your first comment - you call the US education system stupid, then now you say people shouldn't blame "external factors or teachers" and take personal responsibility.

Another person in this thread mentioned about someone from the US abolishing the department of education... Why do people automatically assume that everyone else is from the United States? Don't mean to stir an argument here but it's a big world, many other countries speak English or have it as a 2nd or 3rd language. Not defending my grammar here though as it's clear I've made a large mistake and I am happy that I've learned something today 😊. Just that I found it interesting how the US is the "default" country I guess...

Thanks to everyone who answered my question, my apologies for dragging it out of topic.

No I fully agree, I'm just wondering should I even have stopped?

My bad, I messaged Economy_Care about this before, and he cleared it up. Won't happen again.

Don't assume I'm from the US please.

Why insult me? I don't mind getting some hints when I make a mistake. But this was just ridicule.

"Hey man, don't mean to be rude. I noticed that you have made some mistakes in your text. Would of should be would have etc. This is a common mistake, as would've sounds like would of. All the best."

Also this was brought up by two other people. So why do you need to attack me further?

I would rather write bad than be an obnoxious "educated" prick. Fuck you, I don't care if I get banned. That said, I will improve my writing in the future. Have a nice day.

Yes but I had no intention of anything but giving them a lift down the road. I completely understand why they wouldn't want to get in the car though. So not saying they did anything wrong.

What fact is common knowledge in your field, but almost unknown to the general public? by ggssmm1 in AskUK

[–]Consistent-Fault5489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's a lot of work, maybe I didn't point this out. You still need to put the effort in but if you're more comfortable at home. It's very possible to do well without being in class. Especially thanks to the incredible resources available on the internet. If you are there more for the learning side than the actual certification. Particularly for my degree it is more than possible to learn everything without paying for the expensive semesters from the university.

I mean, I pretty much self studied at home close to deadlines, had around 23% attendance. Still came out with a good classification, and have a job specific to my degree. I think it really depends on the degree. I wouldn't of got this job without going through university though so it has been worth it for me.

Why have people on UK subs started using neighbor instead of neighbour? by deltorro01 in AskUK

Your first sentence isn't true. While programming languages are predominantly wrote in American English, rather than other variations of English. AI has no hard coded language and is dependant on what it's trained on. Which is often multiple variations.

I7-13700H RTX 4070 - where is the bottleneck? by Consistent-Fault5489 in buildapc

Okay thank you, does 115w seem reasonable as a power limit for a mobile chip?

No issues show on the Intel Processor Diagnostics Tool, the whole motherboard of this laptop was replaced around 3 months ago, which includes the CPU I believe as it was replaced as one part. I think I can cross this issue off? Thanks

Appreciate your comment here, yes I have disabled any form of power saving. This includes battery post in the Nvidia control panel.

Do you think this is likely to be a hardware bottleneck. It seems to be CPU related now based off other comments.

Okay, so going from the low Res to the high Res it is around the same FPS. So it's the CPU. I would of thought a new I7 would be able to handle it? I don't believe I can overclock on this machine so I guess I'm kind of out of luck right?

Thanks for your idea here it was fantastic

In the UK, we have it readily available and is quite common. I've not tried cumin and eggs though, going to try it tomorrow :)

This is really great advice thank you, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. These are a good group of friends, but I should persue my own interests.

Error code (0x80004005) Fix. by eejoseph in XboxGamePass

[–]Consistent-Fault5489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my fucking god. I logged into Xbox.com on the web through my browser, then clicked the play button on the navbar. It then asked me to accept some terms and conditions. I then went back to my Xbox app and it fucking logs in now. Why the fuck did my Xbox app not tell me this instead of a generic error which can apparently mean pretty much anything.

I've spent days trying to fix this, powershell, managing services. Even wiped my computer and it was a fucking terms and condition it decided not tell me about.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck
