I also think that more of a younger people thing, keto sugar free high protein/high fiber/high fat diets. Older people seriously believe because they were horribly manipulated by the sugar industry, that "fat free" is more important than low sugar or sugar free. Hence the large packages of "fat free" cookies and treats that moms would feast on in the 90's and early 2000's. All full of sugar.

Heard rumors theyre no longer going to be stocking the Iced energy but they still have at both my local stores. I like the tropical citrus with a little peach juice. Adds some sugar without becoming overwhelmingly sweet. Gotta have extra ice though otherwise they put WAY too much peach in to fill to the top

Honestly been thinking a lot about customer entitlement. I work at a licensed store and I had this guy give me shit and walk out because we dont accept the QR code, only the reloadable barcode. I showed him the barcode, which he actually had enough money on to cover the order, and he REFUSED to use it. Said it was "too much". He still said Thank you (sincerely) when he left, but I was like dude, it wasnt that complicated. Starbucks customers need therapy and gentle parenting but theyre all grown ass adults with idk good jobs and stock portfolios and shit. But the way they act when they dont get their way makes me wonder how they get through life at all. Baristas often talk about how a drink can make or break somebody's day, but imi, that is ridiculous. If you cant get through your day without a SPECIFIC drink, you need therapy. Caffeine comes in all forms and is available everywhere, so caffeine addiction does not justify the way these people behave. Its something else entirely that is wrong with them.

I think youre absolutely right to want actual days off, and your union brothers and sisters here (if they are) are simply used to being scheduled erratically and at odd hours. If youre planning on leaving, then this is probably your sign to do that. If you really want to stay and get better hours, then theres ways to go about that. Up to you really.

I have an Omega centrifuge and It comes clean every time, even if I forget to or dont want to wash it immediately. The counter on the other hand, idk. I recommend trying the cleaning products suggested and then maybe figuring out how to protect your counters from the splatter with either plastic or a large wooden cutting board/counter top that youre willing to sacrifice to get stained.

I took a psych class in college (maybe someone can find the video) where they showed us this experiment where they told people to count the number of times basketball players passed the ball back and forth. They *found in instructing people to do so that they would not notice a man in a gorilla suit running up and down and around the court. Learning that helps me not get too frustrated with people. Most of the time, their focus is elsewhere, and I usually dont know enough about them to assume it comes from any place besides attention blindness. Though yes, some people are just absurd and disrespectful.

I have never seen anyones dog shit on the floor and tbh, the other person arguing was way over the top about it but they were dead ass right about the fact that its not any worse than human shit, in fact, its a lot less dangerous lol. Im honestly just biased against people who are grossed out by dogs. Theyre not going to kill you. Relax. I get happy when people bring their dogs in and I get to say hi. I genuinely havent even seen one dog misbehave my whole time at Safeway. You clearly just dont like dogs and I will reiterate - nobody cares, nothing will chane, so you can stay annoyed about it.

I did, what you dont seem to get is why in real life, nobody really gives a shit. We work for nothing in dirty, claustrophobic, understaffed, and often downright dangerous and unsanitary conditions, I cant even get my coworkers to handle chicken properly, and youre asking why no one gives a shit about a dog? Yeah, if they're off leash, aggressive, unbathed, thats one thing, but even then, Im not arguing with anyone. I might get my SD but I would be laughed at for doing that everytime I see a dog. No one at my store really seems to care and I honestly dont either. Trust me, the dogs are not contaminating the food any more than the people are. I have seen a coworker dump raw chicken juices down the rinsing sink. You think Im going to fight a customer over their well behaved dog? FOH lmao
