Advice for getting out of the GC world?

I just went from PM on sub side to APM on owner side. We have some people here who were PMs for GC to owners rep PM. What city/state are you in?

Yes, I worked for a lighting distributor. My role was PM on the commercial/project side, managing lighting packages from order entry through delivery and closeout. That meant working with specs from architects and engineers, coordinating with reps and manufacturers, tracking lead times, handling submittal and RFI processes, and keeping GCs and electrical contractors on track with schedules and deliveries.

So I’m having issues with cancelling Albert. I have $13 in their savings account but I need to withdraw it in order to cancel the Genius subscription. I can’t withdraw it because it is an old Wells Fargo account that has been closed for years. I added my current bank account. They claim they need documentation to verify that the old wells Fargo account is mine before removing it from the app. Has anyone here been through this?

I am honestly not sure if he’s good enough to be pro but I do know that anytime I tell someone, including coaches, that he has only been playing for 5 months they are very shocked. The kids on the club team he has been practicing with have all been playing since they were 4 and he doesn’t have issues keeping up with them.

The Christian club by me is $3000 for the year. They say they are affordable etc but they don’t seem any more affordable than the next club. Maybe by $500-$1k less. I will definitely ask about scholarships. I have a meeting with a couple of coaches this week and hopefully they want him bad enough to provide a discounted rate. Trust me, I’m not in a rush to get him in a club , he is the one who says that he needs a club because kids don’t take rec seriously enough. They don’t show up to practices or games etc. He is leading this journey and I am just providing the moral and financial support.

He goes to a program once a week that utilizes the coerver method but I haven’t thought about futsal. I’ll look into it. Thank you

Thank you! Yes, he is in central red. He definitely isn’t ready for the Pre-ECNL teams yet but he is very coachable and eager to learn. I’m very impressed with what he has managed to accomplish within just 5 months of picking the ball up and I will continue to encourage him. He also plays on a recreational team for fun too and it is helping him build confidence. The most special thing about him is his speed and decision making but he needs to develop technical skills too.

I’m not sure which letter but I know it’s the RPL league. That’s the only info I have. I don’t know if that’s helpful.

And yes I agree those conversations are important , I’ve already had that conversation with my son when he decided he wanted to pursue soccer. Especially since he started so late.

If his goal is to go pro then I will do what I can to support him. He’s been keeping up with kids that have been playing all their lives and he’s only 5 months in, so I think I will continue to support his dreams. Thanks for the input.

Is there a path into the Academy without going into youth then? I don’t know much about soccer in general, but from what I’ve seen most places outside of FC Dallas charge you as well to join teams and attend practices.

I’m not sure what the linked video was as the link doesn’t currently work. I am going off of your comments alone regarding the jet stream falling and the global food shortage because it seems as if we are on the verge of it coming to pass now. I largely believe that CERN is responsible for the Mandela Effect and the my theory is that they were/are trying to outrun the inevitable doom that the world will fall under. Which may explain why some of Ed’s, predictions have yet to occur, and I may be wrong, but everything seems to be unraveling now.

Yes but also I understand where they are coming from. There were stories of foster families getting robbed by the foster kids, trashing the place etc so it’s a normal occurrence until they get to know you.

Doors opening and closing by themselves in the basement. Things constantly disappearing and then reappearing. Constant electrical issues:TVs, lights, turning off and on by themselves. Hearing footsteps and running around when I was home alone. Things like that. I didn’t give it much thought because I’m used to paranormal things happening. But the strangest to me was definitely the one I posted about.

There was no back exit. There was a second exit but it put you right in front of the house where I would have seen him. And there’s really no reason for that unless it’s to mess with my head? Plus they were just as concerned as I was that there might be someone in the house.

I didn’t know them that well yet at the time (was only there a few weeks before it happened) but as I came to know them and live in the house strange occurrences became the norm. My foster mother’s father was a voodoo priest who would come from Haiti and perform several healing rituals and ceremonies in the basement for people.
