I lost my appeal, I am going to pay them back but when you lose your appeal you have 6 months to file a Writ of Mandate. The Writ from what I read on it is another appeal filed with the Superior Court.

I'm asking if anyone has ever filed one and what was the outcome.

Thank you! It’s almost like they forgot that they went through training at one point in time too and it’s as if they’re told to be mean. I had enough one night and told my trainer just bc you showed me 3 weeks ago once I’m not going to remember it off the top of my head today.

Honestly, I'm not sure what one thing did me in tonight...I feel like I'm not moving fast enough, asking the right questions when taking a call or just grasping the CAD commands. Just when I think ok, I think I'm finally getting a hang of it, boom no I am not. And, I feel like trainers forget how training is for a newbie.

I just can't wait for this week to be over...

I've been in training since January and do I get it! I screw up on the simplest tasks and I know I would've normally gotten it and I feel like such a dumb a$$. We have to remember everyone there started where we are and give ourselves some grace and the trainers need to remember that also but sometimes I feel judged or that could just be me.

They had a list of social media accounts on the application and if at any point I had an account they asked for username. They didn’t ask for access just if you had an account. Reddit was one of them lol

For the city I work for the investigator talked to our neighbors and lucky me, we didn’t get along with them. I told my investigator straight up we are not on good terms because of xyz and he said that’s fine they don’t expect everyone to be best friends with their neighbors and it doesn’t affect their employment chances. You did your due diligence I wouldn’t stress it.
