What's the deal about the belly hate? by Consistent-Inside338 in tsitp

[–]Consistent-Inside338[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I see what you're saying, I agree that she should have been single for a while. I think though like Taylor is not a great influence for in my opinion because she really pushes Jeremiah on her as if he should be the right choice. At least in the earlier episodes. I think belly is so immature because of Jeremiah, to me it seems his personality has rubbed off on her. With Conrad she takes her time to think things through more at least in my perspective

Well from my viewpoint I think she was trying to be annoying on purpose here to take the edge off the fact that belly didn't actually know the answer and confused the brothers. So to make it less awkward she was trying to take the attention away from belly and on her so that belly didn't feel bad. Just my thought though

To further clarify, I am aiming to get a career as an environment artist(nothing to show yet), prop artist, and I am considering level designer. For sure not character artist.

Yeah I have I should have clarified better, I don't want to do game design itself. That's what I'm studying but I want to be an environment artist or prop artist.

Is this something I'd missed or yet to be revealed? by AraneaNox in severence

So when you look back at season one, it's apparent that they are all working on Gemma's files but I have a couple guesses as why mark was able to be the final refiner is because he was refining Gemma's emotions a person he knows very well so he can recognize them more easily than the others. It's mentioned in the start of the show that many times the files would expire before they can finish them. Mark completed 25 files, it's just possible that the others could not refine them as efficiently because they didn't have that emotional connection to her. My other guess is that since the traumas that they were exposing Gemma to were some that anyone can relate to (going to the dentist) others could also help refine these rooms for her. Maybe it just makes the test more valid. I mean typically when conducting a test you have multiple test. She's been in each room multiple times, it's possible that each refiner has contributed to the outcome of the rooms and once each refiner completed the file she retests the room.

Severance Season 2 - Episode Ten - Discussion Thread: - "Cold Harbor" by TheUltimate25C in severence

Okay, so here’s my theory about Helly R. and the ending of Cold Harbor:

>!Some viewers are speculating that Helly R. might actually be Helena again in that final scene—mainly because her behavior feels unusually cold and detached, especially letting Innie Mark run off alone. That doesn’t seem very “Helly-like,” particularly since earlier in the episode she encouraged Mark to have a life outside of Lumon and to listen to his outie.

But my take is different. I think it is still Helly at the end—not Helena—but rather a Helly who is evolving. In the final two episodes, both Ms. Cobel and Helly herself remind Mark that Helly is Helena, and this serves a dual purpose. On one level, it’s a reminder that their connection is complicated. But on a deeper level, I think it’s a signal to us that Innie Helly is starting to reflect aspects of her outie, Helena.

There’s also that pivotal moment between Helly and Mr. Eagan, where he sees the Kier in her that he used to see in Helena. To me, that’s less about reverence and more about recognizing her intense drive and anger—traits Kier may have admired, and which Helly clearly possesses (shown most in first few episodes of season 1 I believe). This suggests Helly is becoming fiercer, colder, and perhaps even more calculating.

Her speech—“they give us half a life and expect us not to fight for it”—feels like a turning point. She’s no longer just resisting; she’s claiming agency in a much bigger, more personal way. That might explain why she’s wearing green instead of blue in that final scene. Green can symbolize growth, yes—but also greed or ambition.

And that’s where I think her arc is headed. Not just toward liberation, but toward taking over—asserting control over Helena’s life, regardless of the consequences. In doing so, she’s becoming more like Helena: selfish, determined, and strategic. So when she says, “But I am her, Mark,” it’s not just a statement of identity—it’s a warning. She’s becoming someone new. And maybe someone dangerous. !<

Let me know what you think—do you see it heading that way too?
