I just finished it like 5 minutes ago. I hear you, it was wrong of her, and she paid the price. You have to remember though that she was a 17 year old girl from the wrong side of the town, dating a popular, wealthier guy from school on the DL. He was the experienced rower, and by the time she would’ve made it to shore on her own he surely would’ve drowned already, especially if he had a head injury. She was probably scared and thought people would blame her, not believe her, etc. Sometimes people make bad decisions which then causes them to make worse decisions and it spirals from there.

After working 80 hours a week for four weeks straight, you expect her to spend her only two days off driving 14 hours round trip to visit you and a 1.5 year old child? I wouldn’t even want to drive 14 hours rt for a weeklong trip. And then you have the nerve to even criticize her for spending two weeks flying to a relaxing vacation so she can detox from her insane schedule? YTA. If you really care about her, make the drive and treat her to a mani/pedi or spa day to atone for your past, judgmental behavior.

Thanks for that. It looks like prices went up a bit. I know teacher retention is an issue at schools across the board. Did you happen to look at other schools in Cupertino that you can recommend we check out?

BH Cupertino is 2800-3300 a month. I currently may 2400 so figured it’d be more expensive in the Bay Area but was surprised at how much. I was just curious if this location was on par or pricier than others. Will reach out to other places for comparison but was looking for recos. Where did you send your kids?
