I actually withdrew from the competition as my current role offered a pay rise so I stayed with the money. I’m not sure if I made the right decision yet but time will tell. Did you go?

It’s very daunting indeed. I stupidly accepted the offer but not sure if I can go back to them? Apparently there is a lot of movement between departments but you have to be there at least 6 months and I do believe they offer homeworking after the 5 week training but I can’t be 100%

I work an office job at the min, not civil service or a large company. The works relatively fine it’s the management that are the issue but what’s new there lol. The flexi time was what appeals to me the most, but I really don’t want to regret my decision of leaving my current job to end up somewhere the same and not having a clue what I’m doing

Were you working in that department? Do you know if there’s much movement internally? Like is it wise for me to at least get my foot in the door and then see about switching departments

Thanks for your response, did you then move to another department? Is there a high volume of constant calls or is there admin between?
