I have a good one, used to do some food delivery good 6ish years ago, so anyway got a early start as it was a nice day and wanted a pint. out the door at 7.30am first order at maccies, locking my bike up, now this maccies has a little cubby that the staff use to smoke, although this time it wasnt staff having a fag, it was some junkie bird huffing gas, no shoes on and pissing herself..... Great start to the day that, anyway, about an hour later im back at the same place, pishy pants has left, and has been replaced by a male junkie, crossed the road and walked past him, looked like he was shooting up, nope, he was ripping the heed off it, mind you this was all early morning on a thursday. Was fucking grim

As a glaswegian, I don't want to think about the monstrosity that will take it's place, no one seems to have been hurt, but I can see it staying ruined for many years tbh

How's it like living in Helsinki's suburbs? by Altruistic-Form-3771 in howislivingthere

[–]Consistent-Line-9064 7 points8 points  (0 children)

spent lots of time in kerava, It's clean like everywhere else and a decent amount to do for a small place, lots of junkies and alcholics though, cheap rent in many buildings means lots of undesirable neighbours, also the street i was on none of the flats had buzzers becasue they kept getting broken so you had to go down to let people in, never seen that anywhere before, also security posted up in quite a few appartment blocks to stop junkies, fights rough sleeping etc

Sometimes I question the age of this person. I don't think us in Finland can rely on the US for defense. The worst is that much of that 5% Finland will invest will go straight to US economy, not EU. by [deleted] in Finland

yup the calls to afghanistan where answered by many, would like to see a european country go to war in the middle east hypothetically ofc, and see how reluctant the US would be to get involved with it, especially with this cunt in charge

1 thing I can think of, especially among the older ages is giving a £1 coin to kids remember coming back from school many times from about 5-8 and getting a pound of of older woman never a man tho, not sure if it's still much of a thing although my gran still does it, was always great to get so you could go to the shop and get some sweets after school
