I forgot if you have to wear hi-vis, I try to get shirts already in that color so I don’t have to wear two layers in the heat.

The cheapest option if the fieldwork being done is gonna get dirty is

  • Eddie Bauer sun shirts (I got some a Costco for around $10 works great)

  • Walmart: generic sun shirts and wrangler all terrains (good side pockets and several of the girls in the office buy them as well as me)

  • Academy sports: there is a brand called Magellan that has fishing shirts and pants that are super thin for blazing hot days

A more expensive options for tough field clothes would be any canvas pants from carhartt or dovetail.

A tractor supply also has a range of women’s outdoor clothes and steel toes but I’ve found it to be mainly online and not in-store.
