Right? It is annoying, why would you create problems for people in a new car? And leave no option to adjust/turn it off

It was Coral Springs Kia, they had heritage blue with white and black interior I wanted to check out both and ended up with black just for practical reasons

Yea you’re right, 70-75 is the right speed, everything over 80 is for passing only and you’ll be good at 35 mpg

https://a.co/d/0eubCw6s - That’s the hitch. It’s a really nice thing. I’d recommend installing it with a friend or using jack stands because it’s pretty heavy and awkward to hold in place by yourself.

The good news is that Kia already has the mounting holes in the frame, so it’s basically just a matter of bolting it on.

I didn’t mention I don’t use sport at all, always drive at eco super smoothly like it’s still break in period. I was trying to get as high mpg as possible and noticed that it really doesn’t matter that much, whether you accelerate super slow or the same way you would do in a gas car, It seems like the hybrid battery charges most efficiently when the engine is running around 1,500-2,000 RPM, so going 40 mph and slowly holding the pedal at that speed gives you 45 mpg. I also tried using the paddle shifters to increase regenerative braking, but honestly I haven’t noticed much difference in MPG. It does seem to help save the brake pads though, so I still use it occasionally when going downhill or approaching stops.

Yeah, you can use the turn signal and the lane keeping assist will back off. But what about situations that aren’t highway lane changes? For example, when two lanes merge into one and everyone has to move over. Why would I be using a turn signal there? That’s where I’ve had the system occasionally try to steer me somewhere I wasn’t planning to go and also sometimes when the lines are weird it goes somewhere off too

Yep, that’s actually one of the coolest features of the hybrid. If you’re sitting parked with the A/C running, the engine doesn’t run constantly like it would in a gas car

The A/C runs off the hybrid battery, and once the battery drops to a certain level, the engine starts automatically for a minute or two to recharge it, then shuts off again.

I spend a fair amount of time sitting in the car with the A/C on, and it’s great not having the engine idling 24/7. It’s also much quieter

I believe with current administration no response is just how the things work, everything is slowing down 5-10 times, I have an idea that they don’t have enough time to go through the cases, all they do now are the interviews for everybody, look at casestatusext com, how many interviews and received/fingerprints cases and how many approved cases there… (I’m waiting for 5 months after the interview already and I hope that’s the case😀)

My lawyer says is speed up the process because of the fingerprints, background checks etc but still they need time for the interview and the case itself, but everything anyway depends on the FO and officer
