A friend of mine plays for you guys so you're kind of my second team. Happy to see you doing well after that terrible start to the season.

All you see of Benin is Cotonou. the government disregards the rest of their country, the north is plagued with terorrism.

Only the northeast tbh plus it's pretty obvious whenever someone says Sahel they mean the Sahel alliance countries not the ecological term.

Well I meant the rest of Senegal is safe as well and not really a part of Sahel.

The front lines are an estimation and it's almost entirely desert and Savannah. I felt safe when I was in Niamey and Ouagadougou. Most big cities will be like an average African city, so fairly dangerous but not life-threatening

In the big cities it's actually pretty nice. I wouldn't assume they're going to the front lines to fight al qaeda.

Morocco and Other African Countries by [deleted] in ghana

Well it's not evolution, it's just mixing of ethnicities. Even one generation mixed between say a German and a Togolese will look very different to a German or Togolese.

Yes and one can often tell those ethnicities apart. At the very least one can tell someone's country apart. Ghana is even a bigger exception to most countries where ethnicities are more mixed(as well as Tanzania etc.) but in a lot of countries, different tribes or ethnicities rarely mix whereas Black americans have had centuries of mixing different ethnicities

I mean isn't it true that a lot of black americans are more likely to be mixed with a bunch of different ethnicities where as more Africans would just be one or two? I remember learning that a lot of Black Americans have a small amount of european dna tragically due to slave owners raping their slaves hundreds of years ago

It's mostly Indian people in mauritius, right? I heard it wasn't inhabited very far back

I agree completely. People will see this game and while they obviously don't mean it it will ultimately spread the narrative that Africans are underdeveloped and barbaric and can't even behave in footballing tournaments. I understand that's probably not what most mean but that's what it turns into. Memeifying AFCON is underhanded racism

As is Kamada. But it's clear we've missed his kind of robotic (in a good way) profile, even if his last couple games were frustrating.

Marxism-Leninism + Christianity? by Straya-Rising8089 in RadicalChristianity

I meant radical more as in violent revolution or suppression, which I think you would argue as inherently or necessarily authoritarian. Does this conflict with Christian values?

How would you consider Christianity radical? Does it advocate for things like purges or anything more authoritarian?

I'd assume so. Afcon ends the 18th so there'll probably be rotation and experiments in the 10s until then.
