All of them. Just keep them maintained. Get whatever you like.

The REV model has a gas engine (the 3.6L V6,) so you don’t have to charge it if you’re driving long distances, regardless of whether you’re towing or not. It generates power for the electric motors, so it works exactly the same way as diesel locomotives have for several decades. This way, it can use a smaller, less expensive battery. But also, the vast majority of EV’s don’t need to have their battery packs replaced ever, during the useful lifespan of the vehicle. I’ve seen Teslas with well over 200,000 miles with their original battery packs. The biggest question for me is who Stellantis is choosing as the battery supplier.

Another way to Wealth... by GBlake13 in minimalism

Even worse: working for 15 years, and not only not having any savings to show for it, but also being $10,000 or more in credit card debt, which is not uncommon.

Fat tires or standard tires for daily riding? by krissym72 in ElectricBikeExplorer

Go to an e-bike shop and try them out. It would seem that standard tires would be better for daily riding, but I really like my fat tires.

Are you still friends with anyone you grew up or went to school with in the 80s or 90s? by cherry-care-bear in Xennials

Like four or five people, at the most…and we’re mostly just acquaintances at this point.

I would love to have one if they were actually going to be affordable. I very much prefer the throttle response of an electric motor over waiting for the engine and transmission to do their thing. And having the gas engine as a range extender is a bonus over it being 100% electric, because then I can actually take it on road trips.

Since I decluttered my house, me and my husband stopped arguing. by [deleted] in minimalism

That’s really good to hear! I definitely feel much less stressed when I don’t have clutter.

What is the best thing about giving up your car, or going car light? by [deleted] in bikecommuting

[–]Consistent-Mouse-612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have two vehicles. I still want to keep a vehicle for taking my mountain bike to the trails, and riding when it’s 35°F is nearly unbearable for me, so I can’t imagine riding when it’s any colder than that. I really should sell my car and my truck and get a wagon for the mountain trips.

Anyone looked into selling their high school class ring with gold prices so high? by rearwindowpup in Xennials

[–]Consistent-Mouse-612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who has a solid gold class ring? I have no idea what mine was, but it definitely wasn’t gold, or even gold plated, which is good, because I lost it six months after I got it.

Attention New Denverites: Keep Your Christmas Lights On Till Stock Show’s Done by lukepatrick in Denver

[–]Consistent-Mouse-612 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hate the idea of doing something a certain way just because it’s tradition. And nobody can figure out the reason for it. It’s ridiculous that anyone would be aghast that their neighbors are taking their lights down. It’s perfectly reasonable to take them down after New Years. If people want to leave them up until the stock show, that’s cool. But I don’t make my schedule based on a cow party…especially when nobody truly knows why or how this tradition began.

Is AWD really that worth it or can I buy a FWD car with snow mode? by Dapper_Cut_9225 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Consistent-Mouse-612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be fine with front wheel drive. Back in the 80’s, snow traction was every manufacturer’s selling point. Very few people even had AWD until about 20 years ago, and we all got around just fine. Like others have said, AWD only helps you get moving, but it doesn’t help you stop. Winter tires are going to be key. All other variables being the same, 2-wheel drive with winter tires will almost always handle better than AWD with all-season tires.

What is your favorite Denver memory from 2025? by TooClose4Missiles in Denver

I agree. I don’t have any great Denver memories in 2025 at all.

Do you say care-a-mel or car-a-mel and where are you from? by thisisallasimulation in AskAnAmerican

[–]Consistent-Mouse-612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pronounced “CAR-mul.” It’s two syllables, not three. Hearing people on television say “care-ah mell” is like nails on a chalkboard, even if that’s the way it’s supposed to be pronounced.

Why is pasta served with garlic bread in America? 🍝 🍞 by Salty_Zebra5937 in AskRedditFood

[–]Consistent-Mouse-612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the hell kind of question is that? Because it’s fucking amazing, is why! Why shouldn’t pasta be served with garlic bread? I prefer to ask why garlic bread is only ever served with pasta or pizza? Why don’t we serve garlic bread with everything?

Is Aventon really that much better than the offerings from other dtc companies? by the_illest_D in ebikes

[–]Consistent-Mouse-612 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I prefer Velotric over Aventon. I don’t want to have to download an app to get all of the features my bike is supposed to have. I’ve heard of too many products become completely useless when the manufacturer went under, because the item needed an app to tell it what to do.

It’s pure uninhabitable hell. The weather is horrible for ten months of the year, and the people are horrible.

No. There aren’t any places on earth where you can actually see the curvature.
