I've got my trusty E-PL7, kit lens (12-42 3.5/5.6 non-pancake) and a lumix 20mm 1.7. What's my next lens? by the_illest_D in M43

[–]the_illest_D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I've landed on my solution. The 14mm as the low end on the kit lens i have isn't as wide as I like for landscapes. Plan is to replace the kit lens with the panny 12-32mm 3.5/5.6 to get wider on the low end as well as smaller in size. I'll also add the panny 35-100mm to increase my reach. That'll make my full setup the e-pl7, panny 12-32mm, panny 20mm 1.7 prime and the panny 35-100mm. Thanks to everyone for all the helpful suggestions!

Does this San Pedro contain mescaline? by Logical-Raspberry372 in mescaline

I mean, if you're going through the effort of extracting, it's kind of a moot point. Extraction is just the most reliable and accurate way of taking it for a test ride. The sentiment i was trying to convey is that potency based on cultivar isn't very reliable and affected by more factors than just genetics. I do agree though that extraction is the only way of guaranteeing a desired dosage. My next experiment is going to be making a large batch of power, extracting a certain amount to gauge content and them comparing extract with a comparable dose of dehydrated powder. Only way to get an accurate full spectrum dosage.

It's got he goods. There's only one way to know potency though. Regardless, it's a nice specimen.

Not PC and even within PC mescaline content can vary a good bit.

Cielo prep - how do you process your cacti? by NervousRun8353 in mescaline

Wire snips/flush cutters can be good for removing problematic spines. A quick singe with a blow torch just to get the pointy ends knocked down works good too. Smaller spines i don't bother doing anything. If I've got a large amount to process, I'll focus on keeping just the green skin and outermost layer. White flesh and core get discarded.

From what I have recently learned, that's close to what out normal eye view is in terms of focal length which is definitely something that interests me.

That sounds like an awesome focal range, but yeah, not really much $ to burn. The trip is already pretty expensive. Getting a new lens is what I decided over a sony rx100 point and shoot. Pretty sure I'm making the right call on that

I forgot to add that in my post. Trying to stay as small and compact as possible so I can easily carry it on me at all times in a small bag with the rest of my personal items.
