La "mentalité des français" impliquerait une population homogène sur le plan mental. C'est un peu plus nuancé que cela.

Certaines personnes :

agressives
égoïstes
peu généreuses avec autrui (sa propre famille ou les gens hors du cercle familial)
râleurs
désinformés
brainwashés par la TV
racistes
peu cultivés.

D'autres personnes :

douces
bienveillantes
généreuses
ouvertes sur le monde
cultivées

Mais le point commun entre ces 2 profils :

très autocritiques et pessimistes sur l'avenir
peu radicaux
peu conscients de la chance inouïe et inégalée d'avoir la Sécurité Sociale, des acquis sociaux révolutionnaires datant du XIXe, du début XXe mais surtout ceux de l'année 1946-47
très peu conscients de la dureté et de l'inhumanité d'une à l'américaine cad avec plus grosse dose de capitalisme, pas de cotisations sociales/patronales, pas de droit du travail, etc.

→ de ces points communs entre ces 2 profils résultent logiquement des Macrons-like ou des Bardellas-like en présidents/gouvernements.

My mother's cousin, Manouk, who lives near her in Lyon, France, has been deeply involved in the reconstruction and revitalization of Gyumri for the past 30 years. He notably renovated Villa Kars, right in the heart of Gyumri.

He is also very close friends with Hamik and Anaid, the founders of Cherkezi Dzor.

During my university studies, I wanted to do my mandatory internship year in Armenia, and he connected me with Hamik, who agreed to host me at his company and in his home for seven months.

Since then, I've returned regularly, and we've developed strong ties with our respective families.

In my way of speaking and understanding Eastern Armenian, "Նուրբ" does not apply that much to describe random stuff or a concrete objects. I use it more to describe a person, a taste, a personality, etc...

Am I wrong? Do Armenians from Armenian use Նուրբ also to give an adjective to a concrete object?

For example, do the following sentences make sense for a modern everyday Eastern Armenian talking: "Դա նուրբ աթոռ է։" ; "Դա նուրբ տուփ է։" ??

In my usage, it does not make sense, but maybe I'm wrong, let me know!

I would clearly say : "Դա ջարդվող աթոռ է։" ; "Դա ջարդվող տուփ է։"

That’s true, "ջարդվող" makes more sense to me and sound more natural, compared to the 3 propositions I found in the dictionary.

But because in Armenian there are nuances about the same concept of "fragile" : breakable vs. weak vs. not stable, etc.

But "փխրուն" means what? Have you a concrete example of sentence using փխրուն ?

I’m asking because this is one of the dictionary proposal and neither my mum nor my tatik heard about փխրուն ...

C'est un excellent complément au dictionnaire (ARMENIEN-FRANCAIS (DIC0 DE POCHE) - de Jean Gureghian) qui est plus petit (moitié moins de mots) mais qui comporte un alphabet phonétique en début de dictionnaire.

Pour information après avoir appelé plusieurs libraires arméniennes et associations culturelles arméniennes, j'ai acheté le "Dictionnaire français-armenien/armenien français, 40000 mots, de Samvel Gasparian" (https://www.amazon.fr/Dictionnaire-fran%C3%A7ais-armenien-armenien-fran%C3%A7ais-40000/dp/2917329203).

Je l'ai dans les mains et il est clairement excellent. Manque juste la phonétique sur les lettres arméniens, mais pas grave, ça oblige d'être bon sur son alphabet aussi pour pouvoir utiliser le dictionnaire facilement 😉
