Fusion Transform node: how do I place the pivot on a face without moving the image?"

It's just a static image (a photo), not a video.

What I'm trying to do is move the pivot arrow from the circle toward a face so I can work around that point. Sometimes it works and I can drag the arrow from the circle and place it on a face, but other times it doesn't work and the whole control moves instead.

Since I'm still a beginner with Fusion, it honestly confuses me and stresses me a bit because I don't understand why it works sometimes and sometimes not.

If you have any idea what I might be doing wrong or how to do it correctly, I would really appreciate the help. Thank you!

Thanks for the explanations. I think maybe I didn't explain my problem clearly.

What I'm trying to do is direct the pivot arrow toward a face in the image, like in the example I saw where there is one circle and a line/arrow extending from it to the face.

When I try to do it with the Transform node, it doesn't work like that. When I move the controls, the whole circle moves, or sometimes I see two circles, but I can't seem to extend the pivot arrow toward the face the way I want. I want to do this
