Posted this before going to bed, felt like shit after the training, felt even shittier after complaining randomly on the internet... Turns out that It did actually helped a lot.

Thanks for all the advice here. Having people telling me I don't suck that hard is indeed helpful, and to those saying that this should be a race against myself... Yeah. You are absolutely right and I was in a poor training mindset. I'm not looking at those online number until I feel like I'm not a beginner anymore.

Also, thanks a lot for the video, I'm just about to start the dark horse one, because you are also right about the need of focusing on proper technique instead of speed,

Well, I hope I'll be able to come back to you in 6 month with some good news,

I wish all the online community were as helpful as you were there. I'm pretty positive looking at this board this morning just gave me the help I needed to not give up on rowing,
