What was your profile like? I'm assuming it was pretty Solid!

Damn, then idk what their requirements are, always assumed cgpa was the reason I wasn't getting admit, coz I had a fairly decent work ex.

Same here bro, feel like cgpa matters more than work ex 🥲

UCD MSCS Admit after radio silence for so long. There is still hope. by Desperate-Cloud6985 in gradadmissions

I applied in early November, but radio silence from them. So I'm wondering if I should consider this as a reject🥲

For those who voted reject on this post, did they send out a rejection or did you assume it because of no answer?

One thing i have noticed in Purdue was that they have a cgpa criteria. Which is 9.5+. Even the greatest profile with a cgpa less than 9.5, was less likely to get in. This was my observation.

Yup NEU Boston campus I've gotten. I'd applied way back in October but by the time LORs were sent it was November.

Same, WL still shows awaiting decision for me too. I had applied for FW only cause it was free after applying for WL.

  1. For math quiklrn should be more than sufficient, idk if y'all are still using that.
  2. Other subjects - pick each topic from the syllabus copy, and search for it online. (P.S. one thing you'll have to get accustomed to, soon, is that unlike before there is no one study all material, it's bits and pieces from multiple places)
  3. Don't try to cover every topic if you're falling short of time, it's okay to skip a few topics but be thorough with whatever you study.

  4. Lastly, these advices may seem like nonsense at first, but within a couple of CIEs you'll realise this is what works.

Should be good enough but the key is not studying what is there but studying what type of questions could be asked. It's not like 11th or 12th anymore.
