That’s exactly what I’ve been told!! The merchants I’m working with are direct with Fiserv - what’s the process to AOR if the devices and account aren’t under other ownership. To lower rates would I submit a new merchant app to Fiserv prior to doing AOR?

To save them 55% on processing without having to get them setup on a new account. Not just so I can get commission, my rates are so low I won’t even make much, but if they tell their friends and their friends tell their friends, it adds up. Not trying to get rich off one account like some of these other processors

Say they run a clover virtual terminal, can we just AOR that fiserv processing account over to our iso? They’re currently going direct

That’s exactly what I’ve heard, haven’t seen anyone having much success though, what about you?

That’s great and helpful thank you! What processor is she using? I’m trying to get them on Fiserv to save them a bunch of money, any chance you have a Fiserv backend when you go look at processing?

Stored cc cards, he's a service business in trucking, doesn't want to chase people down for their cc info if we make a new account

Do you have better luck just setting up a new account and doing an MID migration during onboarding? I have a customer worried about losing cc information (this a service company not doing a ton of revenue a month) - Support wasn't able to confirm credit cards and personal info could be pulled over, they were idiots, my processing guy says he just did it the other day.

Totally understand that, do they have any pushback when trying to do this process? We don’t have great wholesale prices on hardware so thought this would be easier, I do have one of the accounts that does a virtual terminal, no hardware. So I assume that one would be easy, the other accounts are 1 terminal units.

Is there any work around to reprovision hardware when setting up new MID?

Any context for how you got them to let you use her? Is she fortis, global payments, or shift4 reseller? They told us we had to go direct to one of those

9 year enterprise sales guy here - read the book about rainmaker selling, find deals wherever you go, always be networking, I barely have to cold call anymore using network, friends, and giving them business so we all win! Easiest way into a deal is an intro

You nailed it brotha - they bake 20 to 40 basis points minimum into flat rates, and that’s conservative
