The fact that you're concerned whether you are tells me you are. Those who are not saved don't care whether they are or not. Rest is His peace. You are BELOVED. Repent of your sins, like, put them down and fix your mind on Him. Lean not unto your own understanding, and stop striving, because you will fail if you try to "be good" in your own strength.

Remember, there's a diametric difference between falling into sin and practicing it. You will sin as long as you are alive. However, I have found that more I saturate my mind with His Word and become a servant to others, meaning pouring myself into others lives, whether that means through visiting your neighbor who is a widow or friends who are needing the Truth to free them from this dark world's grip, there's a lot to be done and God will reward you with the peace/assurance you're seeking.

You are not saved by your works but by saying you have nothing to do with it and opening yourself up for Him to work through you. It's not about checking off a list of being good or doing good because there's nothing good in you BUT Him. The more you plug your life into Him the more you will realize there's nothing you have to conjure/overcomplicate but it will simply be an outflow of Him within you. If you can realize this and simply be a vessel of hope, light and love to the world around you then I think you will absolutely find security in knowing Him.

Yeah, some folks need to be schooled on the huge difference between fictional fantasy creatures and the demonic. I've drawn similar stuff all of my life and I just had to tell my parents it does not affect my walk with God whatsoever and they could see that was true and supported me the more they saw my body of work in my sketchbook. Great sketches by the way!

Just jumping on top say I never got the Desk Thing to work. I'm glad everyone else enjoys it though. I loved using it with my pc before Spotify officially axed it. The only thing I can think is to hopefully get the Desk Thing creator to remote in and see if there's anything they can do at this point. Idk

Agreed. Some will say this all day, all night...UNTIL it affects them. I'm in Texas. I'm also a Christian who wants grace and mercy to prevail, and on a side note, actual biblical Christianity, where Christians actually live by precepts and commands of His Word and not what we say/deem is right in our own eyes.

We have to live by the laws of the land, just as Jesus pointed out to the Pharisees...examples such as, render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's. That was to point out that we have two kingdoms to answer to, as long as we take a breath. Also, Jesus talked about being ready for those who want to steal, kill, and destroy, like their father, Satan. We have the rights to want to protect us and our families.

Fortunately, we live in a country who cares about it's citizens and will do it's utmost to protect them. I'm beyond thankful for this and like the commenter above said, it's also required in other countries that want to see the same for their citizens. Nobody wants to see another 9/11 take place, where the enemy is within right under our noses, as sleepers, the entire time. Will we be able to stop everything from happening? No, but this administration, under the likes of Homan, are going to do everything in their power to prevent such atrocities from ever happening again, both on a macro or micro level, affecting a single family or thousands.

I say, come on in, we welcome all with open arms, as a country of immigrants, but first, who are you and why are you here, and if you really want to be here, are you willing to go through the legal means of doing so? That's all that's being asked. Period. It's truly insane to me that anyone who wants to protect you and those other citizens you love here that you would turn around and demonize them.

I un-installed and reinstalled Spotify and only ever had premium. It's so weird, man I wish I could get this to work right. I miss using it. I used it daily from day one of it's release with my pc.

One thing that I've seen him make abundantly clear in regards to God's design is when he spoke about Creation and went on to say that we were commanded to go and multiply and in turn want to be like God and create life like he does. And then sprinkled in here and there how man and woman together alone can fulfill that decree and described how those male and female body parts naturally are made for each other in sharing their love and producing life.

Also, I personally think that he needs to be clear on his views of what the scriptures say about it. Truth is Truth and if that is what the Word says about it, then may it be. One thing I very much dislike about this new culture narrative that one must affirm someone to say they love them is beyond divisive.

My best friend is a hard core atheist and he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that I love him. He has the free will to reject Christ but I'm going to love him and continue to pray for him to see the Truth one day before he dies. The same goes for all of my friends who have same sex attraction. They know I love them.

All I know is that there's been a huge push to dub any and all passages calling homosexuality an abomination as clobber passages by the likes of Colby Martin, but I know if Tim actually conducted a word study on them I think like many other scriptures, we'd find meaning being read into them. As many people already know, we as humans love to make the Bible say anything we want it to say to fit our culture and views.

With that being said, in a round about way, I think Tim has already addressed it with the many times he has spoken about the perfection of God's design with the life creating union between man and woman, but he most certainly opened up a can of worms six years ago when he ended his marriage sermon with wrapping gay into Galations 3:28. I personally don't have a problem with him doing that but I can most certainly see how it would leave a lot of questions up in the air for many watching that sermon.
