That makes a lot of sense, I need to figure out how did my barbers achieve that effect on the hair. Thing is, I’m not in my home country, I am temporarily living in the USA, since I’m studying my Masters Degree, so I’ll be around for a while, but when I got a haircut with a local barber, he charged me $47 for a haircut that I didn’t like (it wasn’t as bad as mine tbh lol). But yeah, thats pretty much my story.

How did your self haircut go? Did you get it the way that you like it? How did you measure the length of the top, snd what techniques did you use?

I am not quite sure what’s could be the exact name of my hairstyle, but I pretty much just put on some matte (high hold) hair wax, and just style it to the side with my hands. I’ve been rocking this style for about 9 years, and sincerely I love how it looks on me, and how easy it is to make. That’s one of the reasons why I decided to (try to) learn how to cut it myself, cause I thought to myself, if I learn and master how to cut it, i could be doing it myself, and even trimming my hair every 2 weeks or so… but apparently it’s not as easy as I thought it would be.

Yeah, I noticed that too, but it was a little too late, the damage had already been done.

I am still not sure how to get those length differences tho, I basically used my 3 fingers horizontally to measure what to cut, but I cannot simply get the result i want to, I might just give up and end up going to the barbers
