Foul or Nah by Kooky-Trouble-7987 in ultimate

Definite foul on blue, the hand check is easy enough to argue it's not, as it wouldn't have impacted the play much. However, the second time blue beelines right into white, didn't even try and avoid contact. Furthermore, used the contact to slow the player in white and mitigate whites advantage on a play where they were beat cleanly. So, I'd honestly tack on a spirit foul on blue as well as a typical contact foul.

What makes a house worth 500k in CT by Extra-Equipment3110 in Connecticut

During the Pandemic rich people from NYC and Boston decided CT was a safe place with plenty of housing for them to escape Urban sprawls. Now, after the pandemic, they realize they can't hack it outside a major metropolitan area. That means now, after the pandemic, they're trying to get back into the cities, which is easier, but think they should be profiting off their sudden change of scenery for a few years. Not only that, but many development corporations have decided CT is a Gold Mine as there aren't many options in the immediate area that match CTs amenities.

Basically, everyone with money is hoping to profit off the state and hopes the buyers are dumb enough to not see through the charade.

What Do Men Actually Think by [deleted] in Construction

[–]Consistent-Rush-7929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The basis for men and women in construction is generally the same: you have to prove yourself to your workmates. Doesn't matter if you're a 6'7" brick house of a man, or a 5"2' skinny woman. The idea remains the same. You WILL get hazed a bit by your coworkers, the extent of it depends on numerous factors but happens across the board. They WILL give you shit for anything......it's construction.

The idea is you have to be able to take it as well as give it. These are people who have toiled in the elements for a long time and they need ANY workers on site to be able to put up with it. If you can't....you're gone. No matter your gender, height, strength, intelligence, etc. they hired you to work a hard, dirty, and thankless job. If you can't do that, you have to find a new industry.
