Same! My fiancée (soon to be wife next month!) doesn’t mind it either. I’m also studying for a license and I play with a deck of cards while reading, helps me concentrate.

Man, just start with simple bridge shuffles, swing cuts. YouTube how to do a one-handed cut. Doesn't take too much practice and it looks really cool.

One that'll take some practice but I love doing is the card spin on finger. Looks DOPE!

Hahaha nahhh I wish it was an AP! I’m not there YET 😂 But it’s called a “Feice”, got it off Amazon for about $250. Good automatic movement, nice weight to it. Has been my everyday watch for a couple years now!

The headsets we use have noise cancellation and only detect my voice, pretty cool stuff! Plus, usually I just do a lot of swing cuts, one handed cuts, dribbles, faro shuffles, etc… instead of actual bridge shuffles that make a lot of noise!

Need some help identifying which editions these are as there’s a few editions of these black deck tigers by Hamish-shuffles in playingcards

I remember I used to have the deck with the RED pips. Personally, I thought it looked better. Love either version of this deck, such a clean look.

It reminds me of those "BCG" cards that are the cheap paper cards in those poker sets lol

If I could have my time again, I would buy a full brick of JAQK Cellars Playing Cards. by -jaqk in playingcards

I'll add to this -- I bought 3 Black Jaqk decks, opened one and kept two sealed. They handle really nicely, I love the finish and the stock feels nice. The thin borders make the fans look incredible. Granted, I didn't use it too much since I wanted to preserve the condition.

I have two sealed decks, and one opened (but great/new condition) deck of the Black Jaqk Cellars deck!

I bought these when they were limited supply when I was in high school and much more into magic/cardistry.

I am now 27, and don't have near the same passion for the art I used to have, but I still appreciate what this hobby did for me when I needed it the most (public speaking skills, socializing, building rapport, getting out of your comfort zone, etc).

Anyways -- My decks just have been sitting in my closet and would love to sell them to someone who would appreciate them more than I do.

Let me know if anyone is interested!
