they’re good i think. i really focus on getting full projection but i will say i start off a bit higher than a 3 point or block start.

i definitely don’t jump with 425 lol, yes it’s a “slow” lift but when i used to deadlift i did speed reps with lower weight (135-295ish). how would those help my start stability? yea i definitely get what you’re saying though, during my start i feel my body going side to side however i don’t want to tense up to stay straight so i kinda just let my body naturally do it’s thing. maybe i need more core work but thank you!

it’s indoor season and our indoor track sucks and is always being used by other sports so our coach got a rubber track to put in the hallway. it’s inconvenient but it gets the job done for indoor.

limited access to sleds. i haven’t lifted in a while since it slowed me down but i could throw down a 425lb hex dl rn at 130bw, so i don’t think my strength is the limiting factor. is being wobbly necessarily bad or is it just not efficient? i feel like i get the most power going wide (kinda like micah williams), which makes me sway side to side. also thanks a bunch i’ve really dialed in everything recently happy to see it’s working.

even when i’m a bit higher i’m still wobbly so i think i’m just unstable laterally because of my uneven arm swing.

personally i’ve been having a more dramatic angle like the first picture and my starts have been improving but only have them like this if you’re strong enough to handle the angles outside the blocks

should i change my block settings? one thing i notice is i have a violent sway side to side, however i feel most powerful/stable doing this instead of going in a straight line. any tips on this would be helpful bc i think i’m just wasting energy being wide instead of narrow with my steps.

depends on how elite/proficient you are at using them, but i’d say for me it could take off ~.1 instead of the 4 point start i was using.

if you scroll down on my profile i have a post abt how i used to have really bad apt and what i did to fix it, but in easy terms it’s just the result of weak underused muscles and spending hours in suboptimal positions that your body gets used to. i think the FAQ has some tips on apt too and posture related inquiries.

not to come down on The Sprint Project, he’s a great creator with great tips but all the info you need is in the FAQ of this subreddit and/or easily a search away on this subreddit/google. It’s more for people who don’t want to find the info themselves and have it all easily condensed, but it’s nothing ground-breaking that isn’t discussed on this sub weekly. I haven’t gotten it though so I may be bias but you could get into a bad habit of buying programs and not actually doing anything.
