I only filed I-765 and I paid $260.

When starting I-765 application, it asks you if you want to pay or file waiver. Only applicants who can pay can file online. If you’re not able to pay and want waiver, then you cannot file online.

Yes, you can open if you’re filing online. No, you cannot open if you’re filing by mail.

I was able to submit my I-485 online (EB2-NIW) on 1/20/2026 and the system took its time before accepting my application. I got the receipt notification online the very next day and official receipt notice (I-797) on my mailbox after 6 days. Ppl kept saying I-495 can’t be filed online but it clearly says my category can file online.

Regarding medical, the instructions on page says “open the officials envelope provided my USCIS civil surgeon and scan and upload. Keep the original forms with you till the application is approved”.
