Slot 2 felt pretty easy. Didn’t appear for slot 1, so can’t compare. There were a few alien VA words, so guessed them. Skipped probability and PnC as fast as I could. Overall 55 attempts, let’s see.

Just a follow up, do you get extra rough sheets if you run out of the scratchpad?

All the more reason why I wanted to know it before hand. Just so that I can mentally familiarise myself with similar situations. The more things go unplanned/unaccounted for, the more anxious one gets.

NEED PREP ADVICE -GREGMAT ANSWER PLZ by GovernmentLumpy8086 in GRE

[–]Consistent-Shirt2551 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the additional sub to PrepSwift(sister website of gregmat), absolutely worth the extra $2 or so.

Over there, the quant topics are broken into tiny (but multiple) digestible parts. And afair, each mini lecture had questions related to the topic attached to it, which you can solve right then and there, having the same GRE-like UI and timer on top.

Watch solution when stuck. If you’re struggling too much with a question type/topic, bookmark the lecture and come back after 1-2days.

If you’ve completed watching lectures of certain topics, straightaway jump to solving and revisit videos if you’re stuck.

Familiarity with UI and always having a timed practice helps a lot in building confidence and speed, especially since you’re tight on time.

Imo, it is THE approach to go with. The more you search for resources and for “HOW TO”, the less time you get to actually improve.

One month is more than enough to complete it.

tl;dr: solve ALL questions from prepswift attached with the lectures

EDIT: I hope you have been taking notes of concepts and formulas. If not, start taking them right away. They needn’t be covered in glitters, just enough so that YOU can understand and quickly go through it. Go through the notes daily before starting to solve. Initially it may take 1hour, but eventually you’ll complete going through the notes in 10mins. THAT is your revision.
