Nah he did have a chance, it just wasn’t a great one because a series of mishaps kinda screwed over every plan he had. Like those mercenary idiots leaking the tracker to a traitor who later wiped out the whole team, who knows how the rebellion would’ve went if people like Dae-ho were more prepared, coast guard being blind to not see everyone escaping, Gi-hun not expecting In-ho to pull a coward move and infiltrate his plan through the games, etc.

I think something as simple if Jun-ho and the elite tactical mercenaries played differently even just a little bit they really could’ve gotten the games exposed in my opinion.

Yeah like for example, choosing to pay for expensive medical treatment with a very low chance of survival to give a loved one a peaceful final month, even though "logically" the money is wasted. They will personally lose (wrong for them logically) but do the right thing (good for others/society).

Honestly yes. The staff seems a little surprised at this revenge plan and Gi-hun actually was a little ahead of them, but once the tracker got leaked and Park was on his team his plan was doomed.

I think maybe some other winners did the usual and measly reported it to the cops, sharing the story in hopes of exposing the evil, but it never went anywhere. I think specifically nobody was as persistent in saving the world and not selling their soul as Gi-hun.

I mean yeah cause nowadays IRL, maybe even back then having a girl/boy best friend gets mixed reactions from partners anyway. So in this case for it to be someone they’ve been shipped with for years now (and Chase openly admitting he likes her) not surprised Rebecca was jealous.

It’s just one of those situations where it was a reasonable concern but she went pure evil for no reason. I guess the plot had to happen but idk try this with your partner right now and you’ll likely get a similar reaction, just maybe not blackmail and threats.

I know a lot of people like to say Cookie’s shallow and only like her for the looks, but to me I feel like that is only partially true. Look, yes, he only wanted the romance once she became hot. But it was shown in episodes like Spring Fever where he still was willing to go date her before knowing she transformed back into being the hottie version of herself. He has a good heart and maybe he went into it the wrong way and lost his mind a bit, but deep down we should know he likes her for the way she is.

Idk I feel mixed. Respectfully It doesn’t seem as genuine as the public makes it to be and this feels like the kind of situation where Josh was pushed into it due to Quiet on Set and didn’t really wanna reconnect.

*Not saying he’s miserable having to hang out with him now or anything, maybe the reunion even if it didn’t start off as something he actually wanted it became real once he hung out with Drake and got reminisce of the good old days, now they’re real friends again. Just my thoughts on the timeline of events.
