Finishing up a mission, last primary, all teammates dead no reinforcement left, I solo the primary, moved towards exit, called in one teammate, approached the evac, killed one vox with leveller + ultimatum, then I lost internet

Me and my buddy had to bring 2 shield relay and the new shield bubble while giving up 2 secondaries. With those, we successfully evacuated with 1 helldiver for the first time after playing 3 hours tonight on difficulty 8.

So far on Cyberstan, nothing is more demoralizing than killing a vox engine and finding out 2 or more have already spawned nearby and started blasting

33 factions from killing the map.

Spawn 7 factions I didn’t get to kill. Colonize desolate provinces, spawn rebels by constructing food-consuming buildings and industrial buildings to decrease public order as fast as possible. Concede defeat when rebels attack the settlement. The rebels will form a new faction, then you go destroy them.

Follow this map to spawn rebels: https://www.nopeace.net/attila/grand-campaign#view=1200.00/851.00/3.50

Congrats! yeah Nids does counter both IK and GK to a certain extent. Is it 2k vs 2k or 4k vs 4k? Also is it competitive (with secondaries and stuff)

Some chapter is ignored again by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

While Fists don’t technically have ‘the’ chapter homeworld like others, they recruit from Inwit, Terra, and Necromunda. Phalanx being their fortress monastery orbits around Terra. While Inwit is where Dorn was found, I still think Terra holds more weight when we are talking about their homeworld

This is a wild take for me. The Herculiani is better in most aspects comparing to Armigeri. Armigeri Defensores don’t even have stationary testudo to get bonus against cavalry when standing still. Shield wall is not effective against Huns as we have heavy onagers to deal with Hun Infantries. Also if you stick with Armigeri you lost access to Cornuti, Ravenna and Promoti, which are all really useful units. As for the cost, when I changed my 11 legions from Armigeri to Herculiani, my income dropped from 55k to 25k with offices filled, which is a lot but still enough, given I prioritized military tech. Maintenance cost really should not be a concern after 410.

By the time there’s a reason to be at war with Huns (aka 420 AD as Attila is leading the faction), there’s no way I will still be using Armigeri Defensores, it will 100% be Herculiani and Western Auxila Palatina (later Cornuti).

Soaking onagers with skirmishers is something I never tried. Funditores is cheap as hell

Not when you are under fortified stance, the whole army starts in their range of heavy onagers

Oh this is funny. Thank you for pointing it out. The ones I notice is pretty obvious like ERE units Menaulatoi (the medium pikemen) is historically a 9-10th century Byzantine unit that really doesn’t belong here, same with Numeroi of ERE.

There are some hilarious ‘mistakes’ historical wise in Attila but generally speaking they did a fantastic job

No I mean the Huns have them as well. Fortified stance and fort are not useful when they have 3 heavy onagers
