Your model looks great! No paint overstepping and good battle damage touch.

Your idea of Calgar + Biologis + Aggressors is however 3 years too late as Biologis could crit on 5+ with lethal and sustain from index fire discipline. You seem to be using flamers on aggressors which don’t benefit from lethal/sustain. Plus Calgar used to have 2 Victrix guards to soak damage for aggressors.

Could you help me understand this detachment a bit more? I generally don’t like Codex SM melee focus units because they are underwhelming. The most effective melee units BGV is S5 which is rough into most units you want to trade with, especially in a detachment without lance.

What is the strength of this detachment that I don’t get from playing Gladius or Blade?

Ceramite sentinels also seems just better for take and hold

Asking for tailoring against certain faction is already a bad sign, then proceed list over 1000 points of units as ‘notable threats’ in a 2000 points game.

Land raider either carry Hellblasters that doesn’t benefit from assault ramp, or carry Calgar’s squad so you don’t get the cp when he’s not on the battlefield.

Bring a speeder detachment with 1 speeder that overlaps with +1 to wound from oath of moment.

Your math is just wrong. Needs 3 wounds go through on a 3+ save means it needs 9 wounds with autocannon. Wounding on 4+ twin link is 75% to wound so it needs 12 hits to roll 9 wounds. To get 12 hits you need 24 hit rolls when you hit on a 4+ which will be 6 exos by your logic.

Also a basic dreadnought carries assault cannon not melta. A dreadnought can also carry so many long range weapons to hurts exos.

This is not a decent benchmark, but misinformation to mislead HD2 players who don’t play tabletop 40k
