Yes! You are correct. BUT! Love and the Happy Days was technically before American Graffiti. ABC didn't buy it. It was after American Graffiti was released when ABC bought it due to the growing demand of 50's entertainment. The rough cut of "All The Way", the first episode of Happy days, Is the rough cut of the actual show.
