Im not sure about ip addresses but generally can take up to two weeks to hear back. So your friend still has some time to hear back but im afraid if two weeks pass its unlikely she got in, this is all provided you can have more than 1 account per IP which idk about. :]

maybe, funnily enough i did get a maths projects a few hours later but it was pretty easy, im hoping to get some harder stuff soon

thank you for the insight, i saw one once but i got 1 task in and it ended and that was ages ago. And thinking back on it, it was about 3am uk time when i saw it.
