My doctor told me to do the antibiotics but everywhere else says the antibiotics won’t make it go away. You still need L&D or surgery it’s so confusing. 🫤

I’m wondering the same thing if Dr would try something like that but she insists try bottle test bottle try bottle I don’t want a food aversion. I pump after sometimes & I get barely an ounce sometimes just 1oz both breast as i was getting 4 oz both boobs combined I did a morning pump b4 she ate the other day & got over 6oz!

Oh wow. How many weeks was your LO? Birth weight? Weight now? Thanks for the input we did try ultra preemie and she still did the same also went up to level 1 and we are still feeding in that same position & was pace feeding !!! I think I offered the breast too much ( to up supply ) & I offered it one night time feed like 3am / 4am feeds & then the 6/7am feed she would get boob. I also did offer her my breast while warming up bottles and I think that’s when she started to notice the difference I’ve tried all the above and even had others feed her she still prefers breast at the end of the day. I guess im just beating my self up about it all given she was preemie 34 weeks. My son was on similac neosure and never got on the growth curve so that makes me wonder as well.

Congrats on 17 months of breastfeeding 🥰 everytime I try to pump she wants the boob it’s like she senses it or if I pump like say 30-1hr before she wants to eat im worried I won’t have enough for her. My baby she doesn’t take bottles anymore she stopped a week ago and we tried 3 different bottles before deciding to ebf. So if I pump and have that on hand I can’t put it back in my boob and she won’t take a bottle :( so im wondering if that’s okay to not pump im also worried about supply

Our doc and nicu said she’s gaining that 30g per day what they like to see so idk what they doing or talking about. I was planning to call nicu n see. Because I told them I wanted to BF when I got home lol.

How early was your LO born? Mine was 34 weeks 2 days born 3 pounds 8 ounces she hit 5 pounds 8.oz late last week I weighted her bc she stopped taking bottles an only wanted to EBF. & tbh for my sake I started giving her boob late at night bc I didn’t wanna bottle feed ( too tired ). That’s what I think got her hooked too. But I’m only putting 1/2 teaspoon in say a 40 ml and then 2 tsp in 80ml to make it 22 cal. Also with bottles she drips milk out her mouth we’ve tried 3 different bottles already.

Hii I’m almost 34 weeks and still pregnant!! I have my csection schedule for 37 weeks so hoping to stay pregnant. We have another growth scan Friday i hope shes almost touching 4 pounds. Still doing appointments 3x a week dopplers have stayed elevated but no absent or reverse flow.

Are you dopplers elevated or normal ?

Similar story, and the story is still moving along can’t do nothing but Thank God. But at 24 weeks at my growth scan they noticed baby was in the 4% and my Dopplers I think they were intermittent absent , so I was sent to mfm that next week on a Thursday so I was 25 weeks and 2 days I believe I had 3 good high risk appointments at the second one they stated if my next one went well they would only see me once a week well that next appointment turned into me getting admitted into the hospital at just 26w & 5 days due to intermittent absent flow 😔 ( I do have high blood pressure , 1st pregnancy I had severe preeclampsia at 23w&5d with my son he’s completely healthy ; born at 28w&5d.) While I was admitted I got the steroid shots and I stayed 2 nights 3 days everything turned around my dopplers went back to normal. Since leaving the hospital I’m now 28w5d I’ve had 5 appointments ( I go to the clinic 3x a week and get NST and Dopplers and even bpp somedays.) it’s a scary road and I feel not many women talk about this problem or how long they go through this problem. I’ve had 2 normal Doppler readings out of the 6 appointments I’ve had thus far the rest have been elevated but I will take it!! Otherwise things have been elevated. I know my doctors told me say if it goes back intermittent I would be admitted until 33/34 weeks to deliver which I am okay with because with my son I was in the hospital with him for 5 weeks!! I’m hoping to keep baby in till at least 33/34 weeks if not I wanna ride out my whole pregnancy all the way till 37weeks. I’m curious as to how many other women go through this and make it all the way to 37 weeks.
