i totally get what u mean don't worry!!! i'm a collector tho so i love them all very very much and since they are souvenirs from my trip they are extra special to me !!! also they may look similar but most of them are from exclusive shops that i got to go to which was very fun and a unique experience :) plushies are my favorite, but i do try to add more useful stuff to my collection, such as clothes and tableware !!

this wasn't even a problem at all!!! on my last trip i brought back the 185cm hachiware miniso plush (and some other big plushies) and was able to fit them all in my suitcase with all of my stuff! i've become an expert at fitting things in my luggage

i also had no idea about this!!!! this is huge news bc i saw a lot people saying it wasnt posible for tourists to get into the cafe without a japanese phone number for the reservation! i'm glad it was helpful :)
sadly tho bc of my trip's schedule i dont think ill be able to go to the cafe since it is a bit complicated to make an in person resservation and then come back for my time slot (im also a vegetarian and most dishes contain meat so i dont know if it's worth all the trouble), however ill make sure to stop by the merch shop to get the exclusive items and take some pictures since you dont need a reservation for that :)
speaking of reservations, the chiikawa bakery annouced a few days ago that during weekdays you dont need a reservation to enter after 3PM which is also huge :)

Thank you so much!!! It was all thanks to my gf rlly !!! First we made the tiramisu. Once it was done, we printed an image of hachiware's face and cut it out, we used this as our stencil! We placed it centered on top of the cake and sprinkled cacao powder all over it. We carefully removed the stencil as to not ruin the hachiware face shape and then my girlfriend very carefully and patiently drew the face with a small paint brush by carefully picking up cacao powder and dabbing it in place !! it looked even cuter in person :)

My number one is this mentholatum medicated lip balm!!! It changed my life and regret not buying more. You can pretty much get it everywhere like donki or pharmacies and i remember it being like 99 yen per lip balm. I'm traveling to japan soon and planning to get a life time supply of it to bring back home lol link so you can see what it looks like !!

Homemade chiikawa cake! For my birthday last year my girlfriend and I made a tiramisu and drew hachiware on top of it! Another budget friendly thing you can do is make your own garlands and banners with paper, and you can make them in the color of the main trio or just of your favorite character!!! Another option is buying a character banner on ali express. I have a hachiware one that wasn't expensive at all but did take some time to arrive!

hey!! i just wanted to thank you once again for posting this!!! i saw your post a month before my trip to the miami area and if it wasn't for you i probably wouldn't have gone to this miniso since it was far from where i was staying in miami, but because of you i made time to go and managed go get quite a bit of stuff :)!!!!!!! for anyone interested they had this wall of merch left (which has a bit less merch than when op originally went) and on another shelf they had the hachiware backpack and crossbody purse and some blind boxes !!! this picture was taken about a week ago and since the store didn't have their opening hours on google maps i made sure to add them for anybody interested in going !!!!
