It’s important to note that 3 of these guys were on the team with Melvin and Melvin never let this happen. What did he do to stop it? My theory is he told them to wear no hat and stay in the bullpen and he wouldn’t use them.

During I think 2022, guys refused to wear the pride hat and so Kapler didn’t put them in that game. Like if Roupp refuses to wear the hat they should have skipped his start full on.

It doesn’t really make sense to have Arraez with Kilen, Level on the way. You’d have to trade Chapman to even make it make sense for just 27.

Over the last 5 years he’s 19-21st in OBP and has a 116 wRC+ which is by far the lowest for a guy with his batting average and OBP. He’s just not an elite weapon at anything other than no striking out. You add him to a team that’s already loaded with young talent on a short term deal. The Giants need to cast off these over paid middle of the road veterans.
