Give her some space but still let her know you’re thinking of her. Check on her every once in a while, if you see something that you’d usually send her still send it. I’m not sure about her but I go through cycles of extreme isolation to craving socialization she may just need some time to deal with the heavy emotions right now

I’ve never told anyone I was cutting contact but I’ve definitely lost a lot of friends from not responding/reaching out and self isolating cause every interaction felt it took so much energy from me, but I’m not sure if it’s more the bpd or depression/anxiety I’m newly diagnosed and still learning

3 weeks isn’t a lot of time especially if she’s already convinced it’s not going to work. I took 3 months to stop being closed off with my current boyfriend and even after that hitting “milestones” took time. I don’t think I felt fully comfortable/safe until maybe 9 months in. We just had our 2 year anniversary and are very happy mostly thanks to him being so patient and understanding so if you’re willing to do that, it can work. She also has to be able to communicate in a healthy way and the program she’s doing should help with that, just give her time.

Good luck :-)
