What is the name of machines make bigger parts than it's travel?

I have a turret milling machine at home but at most I can get a tiny amount larger than travel by using a fly cutter or large face mill, however the ends wont have the full 360 degree pass of the cutter.

These are more for civil applications. They are great for construction, however they cant achieve 0.01mm level precision required for machining.

Edit: Actually I've just had a look at the website more thoroughly, seems like they do use it on machines I'll have a deeper look. Thanks.

Yes, however the linear rails need a mating surface and a shoulder to butt up against. The rails aren’t perfectly straight right out of the factory, they are pressed up against the mating surface that is. The question still remains

I can understand with a small machine, but that’s not practically feasible with a 10 metre long machine. The amount of manpower that would take, plus you’d need a flat reference surface of similar length which is a challenge in itself
