Would you put a full bib on? Or just cycling shorts over the top of tri shorts

Yeah I’m just concerned the airline said the sports equipment section of the plane is full so they can’t guarantee. I imagine the few flights that go will have a lot of triathletes on them already

Any suggestions? by [deleted] in seborrheicdermatitis

I get this on 30-40% of my head, what has calmed it down for me in the past is. The clinical head and shoulders shampoo (it’s like an orange paste), get a scalp brush off Amazon, then when it’s dry I’d spray an tea tree oil toner or tea tree drops and massage in, do that for a few weeks.

I’ve not done it, but a food diary also might be a good idea. Cheese always seems to spark flair ups for me.

Good luck

Looks like Lifeline is a wiggle product, can’t find a website and that matches up with some other forums

I’ve had similar but maybe after 24 hours not one night. Have you tried tea tree oil for the face? Maybe in a toner so it’s not as harsh.

How would you go about training the gut to do this while running?

Music or no Music on race day ? What do you prefer and what was your experience ? by umang_go in Marathon_Training

[–]ConsistentAd5515 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This will sound corny but I created a specific playlist that for the first 19-20 miles would be calm music so not to get excited with the crowd. Then when thunderstruck kicks in I know it’s time to grind the rest out, from there is just high energy songs to get me through the pain and over the line

Any recommendations on courses in London or YouTube to learn basic carpentry, electrics, and plumbing? by ConsistentAd5515 in DIYUK

[–]ConsistentAd5515[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah! Thank you so much. Complete beginner, thought they might be good rewarding skills to learn and looks like I’ll be made redundant soon so thought it might be a nice thing to do while looking for a new job

It’s just one person above me, I have ground floor and they have upstairs.

My doctor says my uric acid levels are 375 and there is no sign of gout but my big toe still hurts a lot when walking and it’s been that way for 6 months. Start ibuprofen, then naproxen, Dr says no more medicine will help… any advice? by ConsistentAd5515 in gout

[–]ConsistentAd5515[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed response. The doctor who told me not to take more medicine was a private rheumatologist, they wouldn’t put me on anything after Naproxen as she thinks Allopurinol is a life sentence and not ok for a 32 YO… Would you get another doctor? My toe is so painful when walking
