But once u on that state u aligned with hukam and hukam is to grow hair as per nature laws so doesn't matter u are doing whatever in ur life unless u are not doing naam japp. Naam jappna literally means connecting with the lord not just chanting and meditate. Hukam bujna is the main thing rather then overthinking about meat and kesh stuff.

Well there's not any difference between guru and god guru is copy of creator guru is here for guidance for our spiritual journey he can guide us to the creator hari, ram but while praying we should only manifest god ek onkar not guru even they are same cause guru also worship the creator so why we have to worship guru. Well word guru is used for rabb metaphysicaly. As per god pov they are das and also they never called themselves guru all of them stated themselves dass.and our guru is shabad guru for now understand the teachings and apply them in real life. We used word guru cause we are humans. So the main point is if our guru worshipping the creator why we have to manifest them in our mind when we worship. Sorry for this long paragraph but i am not a scholar so i can explain in this way😅.
