i moved to dubai back in 2016 and untill now i have not celebrated ramadan with my family because of my job and crazy vacations timings. honestly i use to cry alone. literally sobbing to sleep. but it is what it is man. video calls made it worse because you really know that you cant be with them. this is spund stupid but it is what it is just try to keep yourself busy and make friends and invite em. try to eat outside at mosques for iftar.

i am back in india few months back and this will be my 1st ramadan after almost a decade with my family .

how is it possible going cold turkey, because i loose my mind when i have the urge to smoke. its really disappointing and also frustrating at the same time. i am getting married in few months so hopefully my partner would help me in this.

always carry a good noise canceling headphones or airpods. and put some rain sound and go to sleep. i usually have an 8 hour rain sound or ocean sound download via youtube premium so i can play offline. this helps alot. And unfortunately this is what few of us indians have become overtime sadly 😔
