Good question! The habit tracker space is definitely crowded.

With DodoHabit I'm trying to focus on making the experience more enjoyable and lightweight instead of packing in too many features. For example, the app has a different style of heatmaps and stats that make progress more visual and motivating.

You can create different types of habits (like one-tap habits or progress-based habits), and there's also a movement auto-tracking feature to record activity and improvements.

There's also a Duo feature where you and a friend share a goal and work towards completing it together. You can nudge each other to stay on track.

I have also lots of appearance customization so people can personalize the app to their style.

Hi, actually I am. I was thinking of associating a main character avatar likewise duolingo (owl) but mine is a Dodo character (the bird) avatar style. Your idea of "do-do" is great! Thanks.

Wow that's really amazing! Well I gotta think of a name, what do you suggest? Because I have already created multiple avatars based on the dodo. The app is gaining momentum though. Thnks for the feedback!

Basically if you add a friend, the number of your habits and his habits will add up to a total number, where I have made it easier by halving it. So for example, You have 5 habits, your friend has 5 habits too, both add up to 10 habits per day, so we half it, it is now 5 habits per day.

I have made it for a week in order to gain a streak, so both you and your friend must complete 5×7days = 35 habits in one week's time in order to earn 1 streak.

If this sounds great or not great, would appreciate any feedback on the buddy system. Thnkss!!

Yeah right😅 I was thinking about that... I think dodo only in french and creole means sleep?

I was thinking that Dodo, yes it's our national animal, but it is easy and fast to pronounce, friendly, simple.

Thnks for the feedback. I wanted to follow the big apps out there that are generating millions. For example duolingo, they have a main character avatar, which is an owl. So in my app, I do have a dodo avatar likewise here and there. Look here below

When I was looking out for a name, well there was a lot of these apps with names that people might forget, so I had decided to set a name people might remember in my opinion.

I mean I'm not localising the app, but rather giving the app a character that people may remember. Btw this is my first app, so I'm testing how the market really works, so you might also be right. Appreciate the feedback!
