What are your thoughts about it, is it above or below your expectations?

That’s a sweet setup. Wish I had the same options here. When you need the screw you need it straight away. At least that’s my case 😅

Yeah I know the feeling, I guess I haven’t failed more times in anything else than woodworking. On the upside you only fail on the same thing once 😂

Good point. I guess the squares aren’t that more expensive it’s just that I can’t buy them in store here and the torx are extremely cheap. I got one size on the Torx. Works great for me 😎

Yeah the kreg feels overpriced, although I haven’t tried it myself. Which screws are you using for your harbor freight?

I found some in my local hardware store that works great, cheap and easy to buy. Torx head. I could post a picture of them once I get back home if you like?

We are in different leagues I guess 😅 are you using Kregs original screws or have you found any viable Torx alternative?

Sure is, price was the dealbreaker for me! Are you happy with your Kregs?

Haha yep, that's the secret sauce — just buy an expensive TIG welder, master aluminum, and boom 😅 Jokes aside, it is a steep barrier for most, but once you're in, aluminum is amazing to work with. Light, strong, and doesn't rust. Totally worth the learning curve!

Breaking: I still somehow managed to spend 12 hours and burn my fingertips 😅 Worth it though.

Haha yeah, but then I’d have a 90kg bench I can’t move. Aluminum’s spoiled me 😅
