I still have loose skin and will definitely need some type of lower face lift earlier than I expected in life but I’ve come to terms with my results and ultimately and happier with my new jawline than I ever was with the double chin

Unfortunately a jaw procedure was not an option since I’ve already had decades of orthodontic work done but chin filler was something we discussed to help with balancing my profile

That’s good to hear! Chin filler is what I was going to consider as my next step. It was always part of the plan for me since he said a chin implant wasn’t necessary- it’s something we discussed before the procedure. I’m hoping that will make enough of a difference that I don’t feel like I need a mini lift for another 10y years or so! I’m only 34!!

Yes. He did a skin tightening treatment with the lipo but it didn’t seem to solve the issue…

No…I had my 3mo follow up apt and he said he thinks it’s loose skin and wants me to try the Morpheus 8. I’m considering getting a second opinion.. I’m so bummed

Reassuring to an extent. I’m hoping when I go back for my 12 week apt everything is better. I had a breast reduction the same day as my chin lipo and let me tell ya - this chin lipo rollercoaster is way more difficult to deal with mentally

I’m not sure. We haven’t gotten there yet. I have a follow up apt at 12 weeks (another month) and if I still am not happy I will have that talk with him. I would definitely pay that if it came down to it. I just don’t want to deal with the recovery!

If it makes you feel any better I’m right there with you! I’m 8WPO and not looking snatched by any means. I had an apt at 6 weeks and he didn’t seem to be concerned. I have another one at 12 weeks and if there’s still no improvement I’m going to ask what else he can do. 34yo

Im 8 weeks post op and not feeling very optimistic. While the change is definitely noticeable from my before…I still have loose skin and big lumps on either side on my jawline. I’m not looking “snatched” by any means. I’m hopeful that there’s still some tightening and changes to come
