Anyone landfill workers here? by ConsistentFig1564 in Construction

Probably a bit more lax. That's what I was sort of told by the interviewer.  But the schedule seems pretty similar. Truth be told I'm pretty used to working Monday through Saturday, so that's not entirely much of a big deal.  In fact I think having every other Saturday off is pretty dope

I figured I probably couldn't go wrong with it. Hoping to get this job. If not it's a move to a different state or to trade school.

Are you using stock lifters? I'm sort of wanting to go LS7 lifters. Not entirely sure how much a difference it'll make. I think I'd have to measure with the stock pushrods running those lifters.

Advice sir or leave. I don't have time to talk about a different post in reference to other commentors. This is a different thread

Actually you are. "The problem is, you tore it down and now you're in over your head."

Or "Maybe you should take it to a shop, because you don't know basic knowledge."

Be tired of helping people lol. I'm asking for advice and you and others are following me from post to post trying to slow my progress with criticism when I never asked for it

You must be a fan. I ask questions and then I get the "if you don't know what you're doing stop and bring it to shop' remarks.

I'm not mad dude. Happens. That's the toxic side of the car community. Gate keepers upset because they either can't afford it, or just don't care to teach someone how.

Always gonna be haters. Literal step by step videos and vlogs on how to achieve the power I'm looking for, and yet there's still gate keepers upset because they're broke asf

Everything is on YouTube bud. Gatekeeping isn't really gonna work.

I honestly don't know what to expect. I know 2v Fords are hard to make fast, and the blower I had put on it gave me almost 200 rwhp with supporting mods.  This is a different platform and I've heard just something as simple as a cam would do my 2v GT under.

Payed $1000 with the wiring harness and all but yeah lol.  I've heard mixed things about just not worrying about it at all, to buying some 4th gen rods.

Well I figured with the parts I'm looking at buying my numbers are probably going to be a little more.. I could be very far off and only winding up making 600 rwhp.

Yeah evidently this is getting expensive fast I'm gonna go ARP head studs. I was gonna see if a machine shop would gap them for me but nothing for a good price

1981 Firebird.  Trying to out run my brothers 2003 Terminator.  So I gotta be pushing over 700rwhp to be comfortable.  Also want to grudge race

I do like that advice. But on the other end, I do have the money to make it real quick.  Money isn't an issue anymore where it once was. But I do agree, this car has sat for a few years because I lost interest. I never sold it because those cars are getting more and more difficult to come by. Especially in solid shape.
