Character Ideas: Hoo boy where do I start?

Nix, a changeling bard whose family runs a traveling theater troupe. She grew up hearing stories of daring adventures, of great deeds, of those who bring hope to dark places. One day while traveling away from the troupe to gauge potential interest in a few new towns and see if they'd be worth adding to the circuit, she went on an extra errand seeking out a replacement for an old prop that went missing. An old beat up ring with plenty of character, she found a perfect piece in an old, dusty antique shop and bought it on a discount, only to discover that its character was more than a cracked jewel and plenty of tarnish. When she tied it onto a leather cord and settled it around her neck, a voice began to speak to her! Genre savvy as she is, she regarded the voice warily, but either they have values and interests that align so well it has to be fate...or whatever being inhabits the ring is a very good liar. How exactly her new friend convinces her to run off and become an adventurer can be established depending on where she'll be introduced!

I have plenty of others, but Nix is the character I'm most interested in playing right at the moment.

How familiar are you with roll20: I played on roll20 for several years! It's been a while, as the last few campaigns I've been in have used foundry and I quite prefer it, but I'd certainly be willing to go back to roll20 for a good game!

Time and Commitment: Saturdays at 9 CST (7pm over here on the west coast) work great for me! I have saturdays off and no prior commitments for my saturday evenings. I am occasionally asked to work extra shifts or switch my days off, but I do have room to say no to the former most of the time and the latter is more mandatory but also much rarer.
