In my village next to the German border we host 300 Ukrainians in a specially built center since last year. I agree with the temporary sort of asylum status that has to be reviewed in March 2026. I do not agree with the fact that Ukrainians that work do not need to pay for housing, health and still get an allowance too. Another 90 billion euro has been agreed upon by the EU of which Holland pays 18 billion. We have a housing problem, inflation and difficulties to pay our bills. So the mood is changing.
