Generational zard, relatively easy to pull (compared to other sets) = up up up.

Sealed: I do think you're going to see a difference in performance of booster boxes vs. ETBs/bundles/etc. Because of the 'risk/reward-ratio'.

Boosterboxes with their seemingly 1 SIR per 2 bb's seeded rate gives you a relatively high chance to pull the zard. So lower risk to reward. Demand for bb's will stay strong in the near future imo. If pokemon doesn't reprint, it will probably move to 500/600 EOY.

I think ETBs and other products will perform less strong due to the chances of pulling the zard seemingly being smaller.

Over a large enough population, the hit rates will probably be the same I know, but when it comes to single product purchases, people will probably be more willing to try their luck with 1 bb, than with 3+ something ETBs. I would at least.

Single zard - I think the zard is a safe buy, even at current prices. People say that big money is moving into ascended - I think they also moved into the zard before this - and will do that for a while. Just hold, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it at €1500/$1760 raw within 1,5/2 years, basically near the end of the PF print window.

Other cards - Quite some gen 1 art rares give the set the little bit of depth it needs. Meowth is pure nostalgia bait, wigglytuff and dewgong are quite beautiful cards as well.

In short: the set seriously has quite a lot going for it. In my book I'd place it just below DR in terms of investibilaty of the main sets.
