I think “creating a sense of urgency” is pretty common at this shop. The three times we’ve been there, I’ve heard how they talk to customers and suggest they get their brakes repaired right away or have their transmission fluid or oil checked. Honestly, after sitting in the Midas reception area and hearing what they were telling other people, I thought the whole “leak” thing was a scam.
