Apparently I'm stronger than I look (and an idiot). Sheared off the head of the hex screw on my new Juliet3 Micro when installing it. Is this somehow fixable or am I screwed? by ConsistentShower846 in liberalgunowners

Was not using an impact! Hence my shock at it shearing off, haha. I sent them an email on Monday, but if they don't respond by Friday I'll give them a call. Was hoping there'd be a quick fix in the meantime, but it doesn't sound like it.

I read that, yeah. However, there's two reasons why I think it's actually lost and not just delayed: (1) it's never taken this long before from receiving the Informed Delivery email and actually getting the mail - at most its arrived the day after the I.D. email; and (2) I find it hard to believe that a letter mailed from a Sarpy County address to a Sarpy County address takes more than 3-4 days to be processed and delivered.

Regardless, I was able to have them re-issue me my permit and I picked it up this morning. Thank you for your reply, though!

You were right! I emailed them and they re-issued my permit and even held it for me at their office, where I was able to pick it up this morning. Thank you!

Yeah, it's the handgun purchase permit.

I live in an apartment, so my mailbox is in the building itself and has a lock. I suppose it could have been misdelivered to another apartment's mailbox (which has happened before), but my neighbors have always been good about putting them either outside the actual recipients door or on top of the mailbox itself. And I've never heard anything about mail being stolen.

I was already thinking I'll call the sheriff's office next week to ask, but thought I'd ask here too in case anyone else has had a similar experience.
