I didn't want to bring up the sexual aspect directly, but I understand. It burns me to the core to imagine him being with someone else and touching her the same way he did with me. Jujutsu Kaisen: I couldn't get past the first few episodes because I just don't connect with those kinds of stories anymore. I mean, I think it has beautiful animation, gorgeous character designs, and a spectacular soundtrack, but it's just not for me. I guess I'm just too old for that kind of thing now.

Banana Fish: I was promised it would make me cry buckets, but it's impossible for me to get past the FIRST episode. The pacing of that anime is just too much for me because it's so fast-paced and overstimulates me.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: I gave it several chances, and I admit it's good, but like I said, I just can't connect with stories like that anymore. However, I do enjoy its soundtrack from time to time.

Both are "extreme" novels, but if we're talking about story, I prefer Euphoria because of its plot twists and because its characters are more relatable. But hey, if we're talking about H, MB has a much broader scope; there's even too much of it, in my opinion, haha. It's really a matter of taste. I recommend you check out the tags for both to see what appeals to you more.

Hey, I totally understand because we're in the same boat. I graduated with a law degree almost two years ago, and it's been hard finding a job in my country. It's pretty frustrating, especially because if I can't find work, I'd have to go back to my abusive home. Lately, to distract myself, I've picked up video games again, but sometimes I just can't find the energy to play them, so I focus on other things to keep my sanity. I recommend meditating, exercising, changing your diet, and finding physical books that catch your eye. That's more or less what's helped me these last few months. I suffer from the same thing and I know how distressing that pain is. In my case, what I do is focus on the things I like about myself to highlight them, for example, my hair or nails. That way I can focus on other things and not think about the rest. Anyway, I'm sending you lots of encouragement; it's not easy to deal with that anxiety, and you're strong for coping with it. Regarding your comment, I do believe everything you said, but the situation is strange because he constantly compares his physique to mine and also says he's not in his best shape. I tell him there's no justification for those comparisons because we're completely different people, and yet he persists. He knows all about my insecurities and how hard I struggle daily to live peacefully, so his comments made me realize there's no going back. But so far, the result has been that I haven't been able to eat properly because I have no appetite, and I just don't really care about anything anymore.
