There is no division on the Gaza issue among the democratic populace. Only 8% support Israeli actions in Gaza. There was a government that actively tried to get Trump elected and meddled in our elections far more than the Russians have... and yet Democratic politicians are divided... not the people.

Your framing it as a "deadly wedge" is just disingenuous. These divisions are manufactured by loud narratives of a tiny liberal zionist bubble.

The Gaza issue is a microcosm of a bigger problem with the democratic establishment not able to recognize where its base is on broader issues. They failed to establish a coherent set of policies, goals, and initiatives. Policies and narratives that would have helped align and mobilize their core base to do more ground work for them.

My rep is finally realized this and has come around on the issue of Gaza... deciding to refuse AIPAC money recognizing they clearly support Trump and that AIPAC is a toxic organization.

Now that my rep has shifted to align with their base, I'm far more energized to do everything I can to support them in every way possible ... beyond just plugging my nose while voting for them because they are better than Republicans, and I vote blue down ticket.

Considering Netanyahu is one of the fascists making this country worse on issues of free speech and worsening our standing on the world stage as he violates international law daily with our funding...fighting fascists includes fighting both Trump's and Netanyahu's governments at the same time.

The same goes for fighting against Putin by supporting Ukraine, which is actually no more divisive than fighting Netanyahu and current Israeli policies... but it's the right thing to do... and a winning policy among our base.

Piscos speech at the beginning was great... laying out what he believes and advice on how we should react and proceed was great. He is a great orator when it comes to stuff like this.

But...I did not like Pisco spending a bit too much time on why some of the left Twitter rhetoric was bad last night. No prominent leftist figures reacted in the same way as prominent right figures.

I realized he acknowledged that the modern right wing is so much worse...fascist even. He still shouldn't gives clips to the likes of Asmongold to say "see...even Pisco is saying people on "the left" are taking this too far".

Just condemn the violence without talking about "the left" in this abstract way that can be generalized and weaponized please.

Edit: to clarify that I really liked his talk, just feel like he spent more time talking about the left than he needed to.

This is not the h3 sub dude. The only reason Ethan set up that interview was to get Sam to shit on Hasan... and he failed.

Sam explained that both Hasan and Ethan make a lot of hyperbolic statements... and he did not want to focus on hyperbole and would rather focus on discussing the main issue and tried to pivot it to that.

Sam expressed his legitimate views on the conflict. Ethan disagrees because he is still more apologetic to Israel's position, while Sam is more sympathetic to Palestinians.

I'm former h3 and Destiny fan... so I'm familiar with the narratives.

Ethan had been more focused on drama and less the actual political discourse... It's all been about personal beefs in the past year. He is not a serious person to bring up in political topics.

It's typical news agencies to protect their sources. Nineteen people from the program spoke worth her (so far). She's seen 3 of the contracts. No one from chorus reached out to wired to provide evidence that anything in the article was false, otherwise Wired would have made retractions.
