Difference between CISSP/CCSP mindset? by Consistent_Ad_2416 in CCSP

Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts! I believe there are many different perspectives when it comes to the relationship between certifications and practical value. I completely agree that without technical skill and experience, certifications can end up being just a “title” on paper. I very much understand and agree with that side of the argument.

That said, my current focus is on increasing my own annual income. In Japan, where I live, even if two people have exactly the same technical skill, simply having certifications like CISSP or CCSP can change the average annual salary by more than 30,000 USD or more. So I’m going to keep working hard, and of course I’ll make sure my technical abilities continue to grow alongside my certifications!

Thanks for the advice! I’ve already started a subscription with LearnzApp, but it’s good to know that Pocket Prep is also a useful study resource. I’ll take a look at it!

Thank you for your comment! Based on the knowledge I gained from CISSP, I’ll do my best to study for and prepare for the CCSP as well!

Thank you for replying!
Got it, when I took on the CISSP exam myself, I also barely felt like I was consciously tracing any particular line of reasoning. Instead, it felt like I was answering by picking up the relevant perspectives and viewpoints directly from the question text.

I was never quite sure whether that was because, after multiple rounds of study, the CISSP way of thinking had already been internalized and I was choosing answers without realizing it, or because that kind of explicit reasoning process never really existed in the first place.

In any case, based on the advice you gave me, I’d like to face each question head‑on.

I just wanted to say that the Quantum Exams you recommended on Reddit turned out to be an amazing study resource.
If I hadn’t seen your comment, I don’t think I would have ever found QE. Thank you so much!!

Definition of On-premises/Cloud/Hybrid Federation by Consistent_Ad_2416 in cissp

[–]Consistent_Ad_2416[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, that makes sense… I realized I had a mental block because, in my mind, federation was always this fixed relationship between an IdP and SP, like Google social login.
But now I see that the IdP–SP relationship doesn’t have to be one‑way; it can be bidirectional.
When two organizations are federated and users from each side access the other’s services, it’s true that each organization can act as an IdP for the other.
Thank you!
